BBC Radio 1 (commonly referred to as Radio 1 and previously 1FM) is an analogue and digital radio station based in the United Kingdom but aired in America and Canada on the dish and Sirius XM networks.
It plays mainly popular music during the day and mostly new music during the night. It is aimed at 15 - 29 year olds, though the average listener is 33. In the UK it broadcasts 24 hours a day on DAB and 97-99 FM. It's news package is Newsbeat.
